In general, the process takes between 2-4 weeks. However, upon special requests, we are able to expedite the service to as fast as 5-7 days for a nominal fee. 

We are committed to selling conflict-free diamonds. We believe it is completely unacceptable to tolerate conflict diamonds and human suffering in any way.

All polished, mined diamonds sold by The Carat Room comply with the Kimberly Process, which ensures rough diamonds are

• Exported and imported with a government-validated certificate stating the diamonds are conflict-free.
• Transported between signatory countries in a sealed, tamper-proof container.
• Sold with a statement from the seller on all invoices guaranteeing the diamonds sold are conflict-free.

If you have purchased a ring from us, we offerthe first resizing at no additional cost. Otherwise, standard resizing costs are approximately $45-90CAD.

All custom rings and jewellery are locally handcrafted in Toronto, Canada. 

All engagement rings purchased from us include an appraisal from a third-party gemologist that is certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Otherwise, GIA appraisals cost $75 CAD. 

Yes you can however our warranty will not be included.

We do not offer any refunds or exchanges as most jewellery is custom and designed to ones specification.

Yes, we do! We 100% stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery. Each piece goes through a rigorous quality check process however for your peace in mind we offer a 2-year manufacturers warranty against any defects off.

• Replacement of any fallen Melee diamonds or stones
• Cleaning and maintance of jewellery including rings
• One-time resizing on all rings
• Inspection of prongs every six months

Not covered if any repairs or adjustments made to your jewellery that are not done by The Carat Room will void the warranty.

Any damage caused by excessive force or friction, resulting in the loss of diamonds or breakage of the diamond ring, is not considered normal wear and will not be covered by the warranty.

Additional warranty can be purchased for $500 that will extend the warranty to 5 years instead of 2.
